ox feedback

If the ox CLI confused you, failed you, or cost you tokens, tell SageOx Support with ox feedback. It sends a private report from a file or stdin. It does not create a public GitHub issue.

Usage

terminal
$

Write a report

  • Title: the first line of the report is its title, 8–200 characters.
  • Size: a report must fit within 4 KiB and 4,000 characters.
  • Source: pass a file path to --file, or - to read the report from stdin.

What the ox CLI sends

The ox CLI sends only your report, the optional reply email, your ox version, and your OS and architecture. It collects no logs, environment variables, or session content automatically. Explicit feedback works with telemetry off.

The ox CLI refuses a report that contains possible secrets before anything leaves your machine. Sending also requires current secret checks. --dry-run works offline and prints the exact JSON body without sending it.

Choose a reply address

You runReply address
Signed in, no --emailYour signed-in account's notification address
--email <address>That address; the ox CLI does not use your login
--anonymousNone; the ox CLI skips login explicitly
Not signed in, no --emailNone

Examples

terminal
# Check a bug report locally and print the exact JSON body, without sending
$

Run this first to see exactly what SageOx Support would receive. It works offline.

terminal
# Send the bug report and print the result as JSON
$
terminal
# Read the report from stdin and give a reply address without login
$
