Jams for every team

When a few coworkers keep circling the same open question, SageOx invites one of them to host a 5- to 15-minute whiteboard jam. When there is no such question, it stays quiet.

  • Timing: The invitation usually comes the same day the question keeps coming up, or the next.
  • Host first: The person invited can host the jam or pass it to the next person in it. The others hear nothing until someone says yes, and then each is asked to join.
  • Suggest a question: Any coworker can put a question in Up next, where the team can vote on it. SageOx's next check decides which question, if any, becomes a jam.
  • Recent jams: Every jam is visible to the whole team, including the ones that were passed on or never happened. Open a jam to see its outcome and any recorded reason.
  • Feature Preview: On for every team while it is tuned. SageOx is still learning which questions are worth a jam, so some invitations will miss. A team owner or admin can turn Jams off for the whole team in Settings → Feature Preview. Send feedback when a jam misses, or when one should have happened.
